Today’s local radio says he will be in WL for 3 weeks for practice and on sidelines for the game. He will also be able to recruit!

Anybody remember Bart star, Marino, Montana, Greise, Rick Mount , Bob Gibson or Ted Williams as a coach? Or Landry, woody Hayes, Lombardi or tiller as a player?

I definitely don't think that's the case for all really good players. But Brees is something special, the type of person that seems to excel at just about everything he does.
John Wooden could kind of play and later coach. There have been others, but it is rare.
Drew being able to recruit is the most beneficial part of this. Early signing day is the 21st. Just give him and Walters a wad of cash and let them go at it.

Can anyone confirm or deny Drew and family now has a place in Lafayette or West Lafayette? His wife is from the Wawasee area, are her parents still there? Statistically couples tend to move closer to the wifes side of the family than the husbands, and that holds true as the parents get older.
