I wish the commentators would point out each time that Izzo goes nuts in a player's face, ripping them up and down with the f-bomb, like they do when he does his photo-op hug as they go to the bench.
No doubt it was a big road win for them.gotta give him some credit though...he dumped his freshman talent who weren't producing and put in the upperclassmen and they came through for him. they were down 14 with 11 to play. Tie game with 7 to play.
Really going out on a limb there.I expect them to be right in the mix come February/March.
Would love to see a thorough beatdown.I feel like Purdue is going to absolutely annialate them this season. Not sure MSU can keep it close.
I remember Brian Neubert admitting that he was sick and tired of forecasting for a mediocre performance by Wisconsin each year having Bo Ryan shove it down the Big Ten's throat every year. Izzo is a prick for sure, but he has talent and he peaks his teams at tourney time. BEWARE!Really going out on a limb there.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Purdue will have a very tough game awaiting them when they come to East Lansing in January. MSU just beat a pretty darn good Minnesota team on the road after trailing by 15 points. If winning on the road wasn't impressive enough, they did it without their best player Miles Bridges.I feel like Purdue is going to absolutely annialate them this season. YI still don't see them dancing I just don't

Do you really think Purdue could go into "The Barn" in Minnesota and win without Swanigan, Haas and Edwards?
In addition to Bridges being injured, Izzo's team is playing without starting center (Schilling) and power forward (Ben Carter) both of whom are out with knee injuries.
The man can flat out coach and his team should never be taken lightly or disrespected.
Btw,
Watch out for Nick Ward. The freshman big man for MSU has been sensational in Miles Bridges absence.

Thanks. I will remember your watch word "Watch out for Nick Ward", whoever the hell he is. Thanks for the warning. LOLNothing could be further from the truth. I have watched Ward a couple games now. The kid can play in the post. Great footwork and upper body strength for a rookie. Has long arms and good touch around the basket. Minnesota tried to double when he started a dribble move but F'd it up over and over again. The post defender on Ward never forced him into a direction and the double consistently was late and/or chose the wrong side to double. I also thought the post defender gave up good post position without a fight making it much easier for Ward.Nothing could be further from the truth. I just read a thread where a poster cited you for telling fans not to overreact to the one or two games...whether it was the loss to Minny or win over ND, and I thought this guy knows his hoops. Then I read this thread and you totally dismiss MSU. A team that's notorious for playing an extremely difficult schedule and struggling early in the year only to play its best basketball in March. Yes my Spartans have been very mediocre, but it's way too early to write them off...and it sounds like you should know that based on your previous knowledgeable posts. Not sure why there is so much conversation about Michigan State. They are not very good this year.

You said they're not very good this year. That sounds pretty definitive to me. Other than you guys, Wisconsin and Indiana It doesn't look like any other clear cut better teams in the Big. It looks like one of those years where any win/loss won't be that surprising.I'm not judging MSU for one game and I'm not completely writing them off. Just don't think what they've done justifies this amount of discussion on our board. Plenty of better teams to discuss.
No I think it's safe to say IU sucks. You said they're not very good this year. That sounds pretty definitive to me. Got it.I didn't say I wasn't judging them. I said it wasn't based on one game.
