Don't celebrate...

Crean ain't going nowhere man....First, who'd come after this multi-year fiasco after they fired the legend. Second, don't ever forget about those rumors of pictures Crean has of someone in the IU sports staff in the hip boots holding the goat.
Actually that person has the hind feet of the goat in the hip boots with him with the goat heading downhill a few feet from a river...

Do you really think that any Athletic Director wants to be the guy who fires the football AND the basketball in the same academic year? That represents a total failure on your part. Nobody wants to do that.

Greenspan hired Clappy, not Glass.

Irrelevant...Wilson seemingly had to be fired, and it was not due to results...Crean has had a bad year at a time that he could least afford to do so given his contract situation.

does it really matter who is the coach at IU, ever since Knight was let go its gonna be hard to make the majority of the fans happy every year, some are still bitter about Knight being gone

this could lead to IU creaning Crean. He is our greatest asset in Bloomington.

The Boilers played well last night, and yes, last night's game was relevant for Crean's future. At this stage, every game is relevant for Crean's immediate future at IU.

And yes, last night's game is one more step toward IU no longer being coached by Crean after this season. His buyout number is about to be low, and with a settlement easily accomplished a month or two before that July 1 buyout lowering date, the buyout will be all but irrelevant. The major boosters are ready. All hyperbole aside (about extending him, about B1G coach of the year, etc) it seems more likely than not that Tom Crean will not be IU's basketball coach next year.

And so...many die-hard IU fans can see the silver lining in last night's game.

Last 3 coaching hires at IU:
Davis, Samsung, Crean

I will celebrate the win with no regard to their coaching situation.

YEAH! SUPER BOWL CXVI!!

Next thing you know we'll be told not to enjoy those timeless, classic Super Bowl commercials and all the memorable halftime entertainment over the years:

And I'll guarantee you that we NEVER get tired of the Victory Parades either!

In fact, let's have another one in 18 days!!

But I keep being told that all of the blue-blood coaches want to coach in Bloomington. You mean it isn't true?
