Thanks....he may have missed the Berlin Wall coming down in 1989, but he really knows obscure movies.Google “kingpin”
Woody harrelson was on cheers (the big 12 before texas bolted).. years later he was in kingpin and his character is a lot like where the big 12 is headed. Munsoned in the middle of nowhereCan anyone translate this to English?
Oh no no no.. I understand American foreign policy very well. I never denied the existence of the Cold War. I said two things.. the Cold War has been rebranded by the current left (see russiagate) because “the Russians” (insert any rival you use to propagandize jingoistic types) is powerful propaganda…Thanks....he may have missed the Berlin Wall coming down in 1989, but he really knows obscure movies.
Same issue with the Big Ten. Ohio St and everyone else...Is there really anything left worth picking? That was always the biggest issue with the Big 12, really top heavy.

Not for us. But I think the remaining programs form a better conference still than say, the MAC. Like someone else said, if they could go get Cincinnati, BYU, and a couple of other decent programs, they still have a place above other conferences aside from the new Power 4. Might not guarantee them a spot in the playoffs but it should still be better tv contracts than AAC or MAC.Is there really anything left worth picking? Just a few years ago, the B12 made UC, USF, Memphis, UH and UCF go through a very public audition for a possible invitation to join. When it concluded, Bowlsby said “Thanks, we’re not expanding.” I doubt any of the AAC AD’s and Presidents have forgotten that little charade, and they might be more interested in trying to coax a few schools (TCU, OSU, WVU, ISU, KU, KSU) to continue the exodus by joining them, rather than accepting an invitation from a diminished B12.If they can go get Cincy, BYU, UCF, and maybe a Houston then it will hold on as the 5th ranked P5 IMO. But no guarantee to get into the current playoff format by any means.
Good point and you don't see anyone talking partnerships with the remaining Big 12 so I think that is also a good indication of their standing now.Just a few years ago, the B12 made UC, USF, Memphis, UH and UCF go through a very public audition for a possible invitation to join. Regardless of whether the B12 accepts new members or is raided by others, Bob Bowlsby is a dead man walking. UT and OU thought so much of him that they went around him to the SEC without so much as a heads up, and any new members wouldn’t join if he was tapped as the go-forward commissioner. None of the AAC schools will forget how he made them sing and dance, only to callously brush them aside. The tables turned on him quickly.Good point and you don't see anyone talking partnerships with the remaining Big 12 so I think that is also a good indication of their standing now.
