I forget if Dan Coats is part of the deep state or not. He was nominated by Trump so you wouldn't think he would be, but he admits the truth that Russia is attacking our country and western democracies so maybe he's not really on Trump's side. It's so terribly confusing keeping all of this straight.

I have always respected Dan Coats,as he is a straight shooter as politicians go.

Pretty simple: if he says something that is in opposition to a Trump position, he's part of "the swamp" regardless of if Trump appointed him or not. Oh, and Obama and Hillary did something worse.
