I am. My team won and looked about how they thought they would. Players improved and look to be at the level now that they are upperclassmen.

It’s one thing for Jalen Graham to show up and have some attributes that got him rated highly by rivals. It’s another thing for him to have been a complete football player last night.. a player who could not he exploited by the opposition..
he, Grant, Johnson, Mackey, Alexander, Hartwig, trice, karlaftis, Allen, Hartwig, Horvath, bell, plummer, Durham and some others I didn’t mention either took a step or that next step.
the book is the book .. and the new info we have is that those saying “a lot of players are going to be better” appear to be right. So hats off..

People were telling you all summer this was going to happen and you’d have none of it. People told you our defense would be more aggressive and would be improved. That some of the athletes Brohm recruited on the defense like Trice, Graham, Grant, George, Mitchell, Allen, etc, etc., would play better in this new scheme of Brad Lambert.
But you’d have none of it.
My point was that we had to see it… that you could say it all day long but we hadn’t seen it in four years. Well now for one game we’ve seen it.

It’s you. You’re literally the only guy on the board ALL SUMMER saying we had Mac level talent. Since you seemingly are new and know nothing…it’s a long year. There will be ups and downs. We’ll look good one game and not great the next. The OL will look good one quarter or half and wear down the next. This is football. More specifically, Purdue football.
Sit back and enjoy the ride. Stop over analyzing and enjoy the games. Guess what, if Brohm can’t hack it…you don’t have to make the decision to can him. No stress on ya!
