Purdue should take a look at this kid from Crown Point. He’s a junior 6’6” and is a player. I’ve seen him four times this year and he’s flying under the radar. He’s got the complete game.
Game looks a little like Colvin IMO, just no as explosive of a leaper.Nice body for his age -- and knows how to use it. Nice shot form!!! Needs to work a lot on handling the ball, but why would he have up to now?
agree ... so, can we develop him?Game looks a little like Colvin IMO, just no as explosive of a leaper.
Or like a Raphael Davis, but not quite as good of a handle. Nice body and shot though.

I'd have to look more closely. --- The shot at 7 seconds in is Shot Doctor perfectWould the Rocket approve ?
I have NEVER seen Merrillville, Munster, or Valpo this bad in over 50 years. I would also say collectively this is the worst ever for region basketball. Crown Point is very good, but they don’t get pushed by anyone in the region. They were down after the loss at South Bend losing to Portage. They won’t have any problem with them should they meet again.Hopefully can avenge the beatdown he and his teammates took from Portage a couple weeks ago come sectional time. Quite the bizarro world that Valpo, Merrillville and LC are all at the bottom of the DAC looking up at Portage, CP and Chesterton.
Yeah, Region ball is trash this season. I haven't seen him play but I've been hearing a lot about Dominique Murphy from East Chicago Central. Like Shaw, Murphey seems to be under the radar. Murphy just passed E'Twaun Moore for the top scorer in East Chicago history.I have NEVER seen Merrillville, Munster, or Valpo this bad in over 50 years. Valpo losing their best player Smiley to Lalamuire didn’t help. You’re correct, area hoops is lousy this year.I have NEVER seen Merrillville, Munster, or Valpo this bad in over 50 years. Watched Murphy a lot, he’s not a good shooter, nice player but nowhere near Moore’s talent level.Yeah, Region ball is trash this season. Murphy is not even close to being the player Moore was in high school. When he plays the better competition (which isn’t that good) he is a non factor. He is not a good shooter and that’s being kind.Yeah, Region ball is trash this season. I haven't seen him play but I've been hearing a lot about Dominique Murphy from East Chicago Central. Grades/academic concerns perhaps? Maybe he is a late bloomer? So I’m a bit surprised that the he doesn’t have a better offer list yet based on his film and statistics
Low level D-1 player, not sure grades and stuff like that, guessing he can play at a Valpo, Indiana State type of program. Probably the regions second best player behind Shaw.Murphy is not even close to being the player Moore was in high school. When these college players run at him with their length, he will struggle even more to score. He’s not a ball handler so don’t really know where he could play.Low level D-1 player, not sure grades and stuff like that, guessing he can play at a Valpo, Indiana State type of program.
