Has anyone read the contract? Are there any conditions where DH2 can be dismissed without paying him the contract's balance?

It just seems to me that DH2 is going through motions, doing the bare minimum, so he can get fired asap and then leave town with $4.6 mil in his pocket.

The short answer no. You can't fire a head coach "for cause" simply because he didn't win enough.

You are giving him too much credit even at that...he would have to know the motions to even go through them.

DH2 read it, do have to give him credit for that...signed the single greatest and most favorable coaching contract of all time.
