I understand the idea of buying low... Getting a MAC coach who is on the rise. But maybe we need to be looking at a different MAC school...in terms of taking their coaches and how they do... Everything

Livin' up here in NIU Country, Coach Carey runs a nice program, and he does it with many Chicago area players, that are not 3,4, or 5 star recruits. Takes a lot of Chicago Public Leagues kids, gets them out in the countryside among the corn fields, and these players really buy in. I'm sure is stock will continue to rise after the close game with the Buckeyes. He is young and smart and would be a good hire in West Lafayette!!!

He's a Loosier through and through, and if IU had half a brain they'd hire him.

I wasn't really getting at Carey specifically. It's more notable that they just have success over and over no matter who they have... in this place with disadvantages that would make your average Purdue fan's head explode.
