By the way, the repubs are not the party for the working class. If they were they wouldn’t not be against unions. Against a $35 cap on prescription drugs. Against college tuition forgiveness. Against raising minimum wages, etc.
Just to point out one of your several absurdities in this post, college grads are typically not considered part of the working class.

I'm talking about if they want to go to a college or community college to learn a trade like pipefitting, electrician, plumbing, machinists, etc.

Even college grads who are mostly middle class do not benefit from proposed Republican policies. I do not see any Republican policies helping home buyers with downpayment assistance.

After this turn the MAGA BS will go away. It will go back to the pre-MAGA Republican. Even though it was still the party of white supremacy, they were tolerable and not as jackassery. I like the Mitt Romney type republicans. The Christie type republicans. The Michael Steele type republicans. Colin Powell or Condoleezza Rice rice types. Pence seems like a pretty good dude.

So you're in favor of the return of Republican in Name Only party leaders. That day has passed.

I really like those two, but DeSantis has a far better record of accomplishment based on leading a state through covid, pushing back on dumping of illegals by the feds, pushing back on woke Disney idiocy, and so on.
I'm not a fan of DeSantis outside of being a governor. I think Vance and Vivek are in a different universe when it comes to intelligence mixed with swagger, ability to debate and ability to understand America.

Outside of being a governor? I am talking about his great record as the chief executive of one of our largest states, now called the free state of Florida. That is his proven and primary appeal.

The other two do not have that strong record of direct government executive leadership. As far as swagger, he has more than plenty - smacking down Disney, the feds by flying a plane load of illegals to Martha's Vineyard to expose liberal hypocrisy, and going against all the misguidance of Fauci and the others to open schools and business well ahead of virtually all other states.

if they were smart enough to go to a community college to learn a trade, they did not run up absurd debts like at private schools - and were able to get good jobs and pay off whatever they owed.

I heard story after story of art history grads and others with astronomical school debts whining that other taxpayers should pay for their foolishness. I didn't hear any stories of plumbers, electricians and others with valuable trade skills whining for the same.

Cool he went up against Disney. But the dude is awkward as can be. You watch Vance and Vivek and they are guys you could go to a game with and go have a beer. DeSantis is a weirdo.

In your view, have Harris, Biden, Pelosi, Walz, and Schumer made jackasses of themselves during the Biden administration?
C'mon mannnnn....(in Biden's voice). You know damn well BNI isn't going to step out of line with whatever MSNBC and urban radio direct him to think.
BNI probably thinks Walz is a cool, manly dude, while the rest of the country sees him as some gyrating spaz who believes men can get pregnant.

Why should any party help home buyers with a down payment? Just like the student "loan" program which has been a dismal failure. Want a home, get a job that allows you to buy one.

BB, I have a friend who has a carpet store and a carpet cleaning business. He cleaned my carpet a couple of days ago and told me that if he could find a worker, willing to work hard, he could pay that worker over 100K per year working for him.

Yes likely JDV has a better than great shot as the next President. Vivek too is a great thinker and has possibility.

Until the Dems separate theirselves from their toxic far left extremist base that hates Jews, loves Men in Woman's sports, loves DEI madness, Hollywood, wide open borders, protests..... they will have difficulty in elections.

Shapiro has a better than tremendous chance, but he will have to have great answers about distancing himself from the toxicity of the above extremism that repels the working middle class average Joe.
If Trump/Vance have a good 4 years, I could see Vance being the nominee. I doubt DeSantis would accept the VP role. But, a ticket with Scott or Haley on it would be strong. I also really like Josh Hawley of MO and Tom Cotton.

Giveaways and buying votes is right out of the democrat playbook. It's no surprise.
No tax on tips.
No taxes on overtime.
No taxes on SS benefits.
No taxes on police officers, firefighters, veterans, active duty military.
Deduction for auto loan interest.

You just keep repeating the same labels and NEVER EVER take a look at what your side is doing. You think your side is somehow different. How are these not giveaways and buying votes lol?

I like all of those repubs, but only DeSantis has executive experience from being the governor of a free state - and his record has been outstanding.

correction, Haley was also a governor, but her strong support of the mil-industrial complex disqualifies her imo.

Haley is not a Flavor Aider, therefore not a bad choice. Not sure if she if someone I can vote for but she is tolerable.

MAGA Republican = Clinton Democrat & before

This new Dem party...... LOL 🤡🤡
Went downhill under O.....now total clown show

(Shapiro is all they have to save them....if he can distance himself from the CRAZY)
It will be easy to tie him to all of Biden and Harris's idiot policies .

They all have that baggage now except possibly Kelly, who was passed over by Kam in favor of Timpon - and who could run as a national hero of sorts from his astronaut years.

Now that Marco is going to be SOS, there's a great chance that DeSantis takes his place as Senator. I think Scott is finished in Presidential runs, as is Haley unless....she becomes a Democrat. If we're in good shape in four years, it will be Vance vs. Newsom.

Because you have NEVER done it before by your own admittance. Remember Goldwater in 1964 before you probably were born?
I’m not the far left liberal, or I prefer progressive as y’all turned the word liberal into a four letter word, that y’all think I am. I consider myself left center.

Then why have you never voted for a Republican? If your reply were true at least once you would have voted for one.

That would be fantastic if Newsome is the dem candidate.

It is a bit of apples and oranges Bob. Those things you list above are moves to steal less money from people through taxation on people working. An auto loan interest deduction, although less appealing to me just goes along with other tax credits in play and to stimulate a sector. All are totally different than asking workers through taxation to pay for other's misappropriate choices and irresponsibility even though history has shown the stupidity to last longer than a few years.

What we believe is even better BB. We believe in agreeing to what the current market will bear. Shortage of workers due to more business means better wages and benefits. Overindulgence of workers means less pay.

If you're going to jump in you need to stay on point gramps.

Tell me in 10 paragraphs or less how those aren't giveaways and buying votes. I'm sure Thomas has an opinion.

And despite these giveaways being talked about during the campaign and on this board, not one of you "republicans" here .......nor any of the MAGA stooges in congress........has explained how trump is going to make up the revenue that's going to be lost. I guess the party platform doesn't stand for fiscal responsibility anymore unless it's to hold up legislation you don't like. The interest on the debt will be ONE TRILLION DOLLARS next year. And before one of you deflects to the dems spending like a drunken sailors because that's all you know how to do, they are no better than you are. Neither party gives a damn because they're too busy giving people sh/t to get re-elected.

Let me hep you out little brother, if you really want to know..

1. Drill. Drilling and producing oil or natural gas allows revenue to come into the US treasury from it's sale. By doing that, you take part of the profits and pay down the debt.
2. Tariffs. To even the playing field, tariffs do just that and bring revenue to the US treasury.
3. Lower the cost of fossil fuel in the US allows folks to keep more of what they make, and allows them to buy more feeding other industries in the US.
4. Lowering taxes on corporations that bring business BACK to the US allows and encourages more goods to be made in country, lowering costs for all.

There are plenty more things that can and will be done under DJT's second go around that will help you, me, and BNI. It's about supply and demand, chapter one in Econ 101.

Giveaways?

Money earned is NOT the Govt money. We earned it. It is ours. Govt is NOT entitled to it.

The voter determines how much Govt gets by the people they elect. What they do get, is a privilege and they should use it wisely. 75 Million think Govt needs less.

Trumps election means the people have recognized the Govt gets too much of our money....and thus the policies above that you are calling "giveaways".

You don't understand the Trump electorate.

You do understand BIG Govt Marxist ideas, and act like the Govt is entitled to this money just because wasteful Dem spending 13 of the last 16 years have ran up the debt.
