Democrats still haven’t received the message…

BOTTOM LINE: God provides an unchanging moral standard in a world of shifting values. His Principles regarding Mind, Truth, and Love help us live with integrity, love, and compassion, creating stronger relationships and communities.
MORAL STANDARD? He allows children by the MILLIONS to die every year. Natural disasters that kill tens of thousands of his "children".
Maybe you mean the moral standard of this child molester whom your god allowed to abuse children?

You want to brush that all away with your "God is Love, not love" BS? Because a capital letter makes all the difference. You freakin people.

Thank you, TJ. I used to run two sports ministries where, after playing, I would have the young men in their twenties and thirties sit. I would then open the KJV Bible and read the corresponding verses to the number of players there. Since we had different religions, different denominations, agnostics, and atheists, I developed my own gnostic definitions because they were logical, and the more intelligent players than I understood the metaphysics behind my explanations. Unfortunately, younger players don't contemplate or have the patience to understand this. I guess that is why they bastardize the Bible and are full of hate. Since they appreciated playing, they would listen. Years later, several former players would thank me for this ministry's influence on their lives. The sad part is that the Church Vicar played a few times and was furious that I was not teaching the Lutheran Way. I told him I wasn't teaching the Christian Way either, but look at the result. He was so closed-minded that he never even saw how players who were members of the Church took a more significant role.

I am not the Holy Ghost, but hopefully, I can write something that some people will think about and cast aside their hatred of others that take a different approach. The perfect example is how Trump is taking the common sense ideas of past Democrat Presidents and instituting them but getting blowback from Democrats. It is laughable.

As a mathematician, I define the values of 2 and 3, and when added together, I conclude they equal 5. If a Christian concludes they equal 6, I do not say mathematics is wrong.

Your definition of love is finite, as is mine. Your definition of finite is finite. However, open your mind and meditate on the meaning of infinity. Next, meditate on the word, Love.

You told me you are only here for a limited number of years. Would you like to eliminate some of your hate? I know I do within myself.

Oh, and BTW, I found the religion of Islam is very similar to the teaching of Christianity, and my words apply to them also. I also know that the prophet, Jesus, is mentioned more times in the Quran than the prophet, Mohammad. I also found it ironic when blacks took Islamic names, not realizing that Muslims killed far more blacks than Christians, and slavery still abounds in Muslim dominated countries.

I imagine you lost him on the islam thing since I mentioned it was 600 to 800 years after Christianity in which Mary was held in higher esteem than Fatima Mohammad's daughter as well as the prayer beads. He never did make the connection that Islam borrowed some from Christianity...and that is okay since there are many things I don't know well.

Lol. I'm not interested in your argument of Christianity vs. Islam. Save it for your prayer meetings.

You and Tj get along well. You both spout mindless drivel yet to seem to think you're making a logical argument. In reality you're just finding ways to avoid answering questions.

Meditate on the meaning of infinity and love.
Are Christians really bad at math?

Outside of being an agnostic, people generally hold three types of religion and of course leans or combinations along the spectrum of those. The three are 1) believing in a supreme entity or God. 2) believing in "self". 3) believing in the government. Back in the 80s USA Today ran about an 8 page article in how "Christianity" was viewed from different denominations and/or locations inside the country. I'm going to do a bit of a search and see if I can find it. Couldn't find it most likely due to algorithm based upon hits and buried due to most recent info...a problem that concerns me generally with information that is older...which doesn't mean less accurate...just not as popular. Easy to see the same thing in songs. Anyway it was very interesting in that it divided the country into four areas. This definitely is not it, but gives an idea... https://www.annarbor.com/passions-pursuits/religion-in-america-how-many-gods-do-we-have/

Lol. Just keep focusing on what YOU say and ignoring what anyone else says.

You think making comparisons between religious figures of different faiths has ANYTHING to do with my belief that the god of Abraham or Muhammad don't exist? Mary was held in higher esteem than a Muslim figure means absolutely squat when it comes to my question. Again, this is you finding ways to avoid answering questions and acting like it's my problem that I don't know how smart you are.

it's your problem, but that is okay. You can be helped in many areas...I'm just not sure I have the patience or desire to have the dots touching ,as I don't intend to save the world and have no problem with you seeing things different. It's a good thing actually...hold firm to all you believe...it is okay

Thanks TJ. When I ran my basketball ministry, certain players were too young, and their prefrontal cortex, responsible for abstract thinking, reasoning, and critical analysis, wasn't fully developed. I learned it wouldn't be developed until their mid-20s. My prayer is that they will be curious when they mature. When I debate Democrats on the Internet, I find that most are incredibly close-minded and will not listen. Then again, maybe some have too much hate and need to find God.

I pray that others reading this blog, no matter their political affiliation, have read what I wrote, which gave them the curiosity to see if any of it could align with their spirituality.

Christians are bad at many things, and we can continue to improve all of our life. Those like you, who are already perfect like Jesus have nothing left to gain.

Congratulations.

Debating Dems on the internet? Next time talk peace and love to them like Bob suggests. That, or go to the garage and hit your thumb with a hammer. Same results.🙄

I'm certainly no biblical scholar (quite ignorant actually...at least in the OT and Bob would expand that to all that disagrees with his positions), but for any with the inclination or curiosity to attempt to learn something, so prevalent in so many lives, and yet is so foreign to typical understandings...the more you learn, the more curiosity that takes place. Quite simply I experienced the same thing with any design of experiments in industry. As I explained some things...other interactions or error terms left other questions that could be explored.

Today, there are many findings found from time to time that tend to validate biblical understandings, and yet there too are many questions for an inquisitive mind. Christianity is unique as far as it's origin as that has been shared before here. The question posed to you previously was quite simply, why do bad things happen to good people? That question is nothing new and asking the question itself is all that is needed for the questioner to believe he or she has the answer...even if he or she doesn't. Providing a general answer understood by many will not resonate with one that has not inquired deeper and so arriving at a general understanding between people is somewhat improbable due to different starting points of understanding.

Wow what a thorough and enlightening post.

I'm glad to hear you don't hate progressives and illegal immigrants and the LGBTQ community, among others. Your posts reflect a different attitude but I'm sure you're just misunderstood.

It is not arguable that you have no compassion for many groups of people. But since that's not hate I guess your god won't hold it against you. Just ask for forgiveness and you can start not loving your neighbor again tomorrow.
You lefty libs are confusing the word "hate" with "don't agree with"........

I only hate a few things..Hamas, antifa, radical muslims....but, I disagree with a lot of things...trans men playing in women's sports for example.

I strongly disagree. Since I talked metaphysics to BB62, and he could not process it, I conclude that he is probably a teenager. He is much brighter than I am, can find some good videos quickly, and post them. He is perhaps a Democrat because, while rebellious, he wants to be loyal to his parents, which is admirable. However, unfortunately, he is closed-minded. However, hopefully, this debate will get him thinking.

Meanwhile, there are Democrats who followed the debate, are Christians, and have opened their minds to a metaphysical viewpoint. And in doing so, they have opened their eyes to what Trump is trying to do. All Americans want a sovereign nation, less bureaucracy in the government, equal opportunity for all Americans, and world peace. They still want to keep Trump in check, which is fine.

It is good that we talk about religion, politics, and race, even though BNI leaves me frustrated.

You nailed it with Why do bad things happen to good people? This is why I lean to being a heretic and calling myself a metaohysical Christian. If God is Spirit, God is all, and God made us in His image and likeness, then our reality is in the Spirit only. We are in the physical world, but that is temporal. Why is the question, but whatever happens to us physically is temporary. We must consider it perhaps as a learning lesson, and consider it all joy, for the lessons we learned, knowing that we all have the gift of everlasting Life, if we accept the Truth.

I have spoken to others like you do, and it is beneficial for a white guy to say it. However, when you call everybody a racist and imply that you are a victim, that is highly frustrating to me, and I believe it hurts your message. I would stick to the facts, and when you do, I enjoy it. I would also appreciate that when you refer to our President, you call him Trump.

An example is that in the fifties, the truth is blacks went to church more often and had the lowest divorce rate.

I never said that I was a victim of anything here. However, if racists on this board say racist stuff then they are racists. Are white folks victims for claiming that DEI is bad and that it's reverse racism?
