You know B, six people were on that plane....two pilots, a doc and a flight nurse, a small child who was being rushed to St. Louis for a needed procedure to save his/her life along with one of the child's parents. I knew that is were you were going. It is still way too early to even speculate. Then at the same because of the DEI bs from the right in recent months, bringing it up on a tragedy like this in the first place is putting politics on the fray instead of focusing on the victims in the crash. The entire press conference was dominated by DEI or speculation of DEI being the cause with no evidence. Then in lock step that proves the political angle in all of this, Hegseth, Vance, and Duffy reintegrated the DEI nonsense. Hegseth even said that is was going to get rid of it in the armed forces.
Secondly, putting DEI for now. Chump, without evidence went on to speculate about helicopter pilot error saying that with 20/20 vision they should have seen the plane. Or possibly wearing night vision glasses was a contributing factor. Again way before any investigation was started. No matter how you look at it the pres conference was just awful.
Then when asked if Chump was going to the crash site. He said, “You want me to go swimming?”. Just awful. It’s going to be a long 4 years.

There is no speculation. The tower was understaffed because of DEI. That is 100% fact. They turned away qualified candidates because they weren't diverse enough. The crash happened because they were overworked and understaffed. IF they had the proper staffing, the tower would have alerted the helicopter pilot much earlier of the impending crash.
I am a pilot and I've flown into some extremely busy airports. DC is one of the most busy. Not a place to have too little staff.
Perhaps AFTER the investigation is OVER and the FINAL report is out the NTSB will find that being understaffed caused the crash. Maybe not. The point is speculating that alone as a cause without evidence is bad enough after a disaster but adding DEI in the mix is bring in politics. Again right after the crash is bit much. Then Hegseth, Vance, and Duffy parroting the DEI angle. Plus Hegseth saying that he is going to get rid of DEI in the military. Again without so much of a preliminary finding as the crash just happen hours prior. To spend so much time on DEI and understaffing was very insensitive and should have been done better as so-called president of the US. But the Flavor Aid taste good, doesn’t it.
Then Chump is asked about going to the site. His dumb remark is “You want me to go swimming?”. If you don’t see that is a crass statement to make after a tragedy, then I do not know what is.
This blaming every US disaster on DEI has got to stop.
Dude, please. There is NO universe in which an understaffed tower in one of the most congested areas didn't play a part in the crash. That isn't to say it's the only reason. But I promise you it played a part, otherwise they wouldn't call it being understaffed. They weren't equipped to necessary needs.
Trust me, I'm a pilot. I've experienced these busy airports. Until you have heard how chaotic it is, you don't know wtf you're talking about.

well, he did struggle with abnormalities. Division, Envy and Insanity can evoke very mixed thoughts between victors and victims. I like his passion even if sometimes it doesn't make sense.
Yes, this is correct. It mostly started under Obama. Trump reversed that, and from what I understand, many positions were filled. Then Biden reversed it back and some people quit because of this, thus leaving the DC tower understaffed and they were unable to find qualified candidates because they were mandated to be not white or male. Over 3,000 people were turned away because they weren't diverse enough.
I wish I knew how to find the comments I heard on the radio about some people even one with a perfect score not getting admitted. I would love to see the data if it were even available. I haven't followed these and so I have insufficient background for any understanding other than what I'm told
