David Blough - Career Stats and potential

Completely different circumstances than Brees and Painter but he is on pace to be one of the most prolific passers in Big Ten history.

Blough has started 16 games in 1+ years and has averaged 268 yds/1.88 TD per game.

If he stays healthy and plays the last 3 games this season and 12 each as a Junior and Senior - he will end up around 11,500 yards 80 TD's if he keeps his current pace. That would put him just behind Brees statistically - albeit Brees only started for 3 years.

Who knows - maybe we hire the guy from Navy and run the triple option.....

Might want to review how successful Demos was as a HC. Had a barrel of talent but sucked as a coach.

Might want to re-read my post or is my sarcasm hard to grasp? 13 players from 1970 team eventually made NFL rosters yet Demos could only manage to win 4 games? He makes DH look like Vince Lombardi

Yes, as QB coach under Jack, DeMoss was pretty good (Griese, Phipps, etc.). But as a head coach, not so much. Lack of adjustments was huge among other things. How many yards did the "flea" from MSU run against us.

Did Danielson and Burton play together? I thought Larry came along after.
