How many players have been arrested for violent crime since he's been here? He needs to be fired.

With our record and lack of progress during the last three years, he should have been let go. I agree with that.

However, it is not always the coaches fault for the actions of a few select players. If coaches were let go due to that happening from time to time, then several of the "elite" coaches should be let go at those universities.

He should be brought up on grand larceny charges for stealing $6.6 million from the school - so far.

The guy should get some reward for being sneaky enough to get this job. Just think, he got a guarantee job and his past experience isnt that good. All the scam artist should be looking up to Hazell. MB should be the one that is fined and fired for hiring this guy. Just think they had a committee put together to hire him.

Anyone know who was on that committee? I bet they are hoping no one asks them about recommending Hazell

I need to go track down Grigson in Indy for a couple questionable things and Jim Tressel is in Youngstown drinking with Bo Pelini and Maurice Clarett.

Well I'd say when Northwestern is routinely better than Purdue at football that qualifies as s pretty serious problem. Whether we like it or not Hazell has his opportunity this year. I am pulling for him to break out this year, but if he fails for the 4th year in a row I think it is pretty clear our AD made one of those penny stock investments that went south with everyone's money in the balance. He has had 3 years and all we have are a a few wins against the lowest grade teams in the all of D1 and have been absolutely blown out of most other games. We are averaging less than 1 big ten win per year under Hazell. Our QB performances are disgraceful and we have probably got some of the easiest wide receivers to cover in the all of college football that should probably be at D2 level for the most part. The one area Hazell was supposed to bring being a wide receive coach himself is the one area at Purdue that is probably worse than our QB group, worse than any defensive cadre, worse than any other offensive cadre is our unspeakably bad wide receiver performances. These guys lack serious athletic ability and couldn't get open if we tied lead balls to the ankles of other big ten corners. Though that may be partly to blame by our offensive coordinator running the same play 50 times a game. He has this year to make a name for himself, but after the 4th year of 1 or less big ten wins a year, that could spell bye bye bye like a pizza pie.

To be perfectly blunt, I want him to fail miserably. The there would be no doubts, no questions, no alternatives for the new AD to consider, other than to fire his sorry ass and find a real coach.
And to head off the holier than thou people on this board who will play the "I'm a better fan than you card," may you sit forever in a 1/3 full stadium, in a driving, cold rain, while watching us lose to another MAC school by 20.
