Danny Etling to LSU

From what I've read on various LSU blogs they expect him to compete for the starting spot when he becomes eligible to play. Will be interesting to see how he does there. I hope this means our quarterbacks are just that much more talented than Etling, and not that Hazell made a massive mistake.

LSU usually has a strong running game and very talented receivers. If he beats the other guys for the starting job, he might actually be quite successful there.

Holy crap, good for him. I can see him doing very well there if he is given time and surrounded by talent. Of course he will be playing against some great defenses but he saw some pretty good one's here too.

LSU actually has legitimate wideouts which hampers any assesments on our QB's, the year off should help in his physical maturing, still don't believe he'll do much there.

I think its funny that he couldn't do anything here and he expects to go to the tough SEC and play well there. He will have some tough competition. Good luck though

Yeah but LSU is good and we suck. He has every opportunity to excel there. No idea if he will but their lineman, RB's, TE's and WR's are all significantly better than ours. How would Winston or Mariota have looked at Purdue with our line and skill players? Pretty average is my guess. I wish Etling nothing but the best.
