wow. I know that Russell is known for his offensive skillset, but the fact that Dakota had no trouble bringing the ball up against a lottery pick is impressive regardless. His handles looked really good. I thought he'd be a good half court ball handler, but I did not expect that, especially as a freshman.
I feel like he's impressing with a different aspect of him game almost every couple of weeks. His defense has improved throughout the year and is way ahead of where I expected it, his passing is obviously very good, and now his handles are tightening up. Really liked his pump to get that center in the air, just wished he hit all three, or even two. Overall, his floor game is just really impressive. I think that he actually has a ton of room to improve too, considering he doesn't even look like a B1G player right now. A healthy off season should really help his strength and conditioning, and hopefully that leads to a big sophomore year.
