Dakich tweet

If what Dak says is true........have to think BOB is in the loop....and if true, fire his azz now! Sure we are putting out feelers for candidates just in case. Really Pizz me off if he takes most of this class with him....he will then be dead to me!!!
God, the people on this board are clueless.

In the Thursday afternoon press conference, Brohm said that any reports connecting his name and the Louisville opening are "completely false". Brohm said, when asked about Dan Dakich's tweet, "there's nothing to that".

Seems pretty unambiguous to me. On top of that, Bobinski, the Associate AD, and Mike Berghoff are all in Charleston, SC for the MBB tournament. They don't seem concerned about Brohm leaving. There are no credible reports of any recruits decommitting. So maybe, just maybe, all this BS from IU grad Dakich and the Louisville media and homers is completely bogus and Brohm isn't going anywhere?

I think Karlaftis could honestly be the guy that rallies this class to stay at Purdue if Brohm leaves, particularly if we keep several assistants. He's been the biggest cheerleader by far and I can't believe it's 100% because of Brohm.
Read my post below. Brohm isn't leaving.

You said done, gone. He is a wolverine. I was going to say source, but being you are a long time poster, I figured you had confirmed info.
Sorry. Guess I figured most would read between the lines because they had followed his recruitment. Forgot maybe some hadn’t followed it too closely. @Knights2715 did though.

But this is cool though.

You are good. You been posting a long time. Let's just hope for good results. A lot of crap being posted on here today. The coach saying bull crap today helps. We need to beat Wisky.

We are not delusional. We just all know he will be taking the job at some point in the near future.

The questions is when?

no. no, you don't.

Not a d@mn soul outside Jeff Brohm knows what he's going to do.

It's conceivable he'll never coach a game on the sidelines in L'ville.

That said, he very well could take the job. I don't know, and neither do you.

Unfortunately rumors will continue to fly until a coach is named. Wish Louisville waited till end of season till they fired their coach. I'm getting tired of all these rumors and distractions.

Remember when every year we had to wait to see if Hazell accepted those job offers? Yeah, I don't either.

It will go with the territory as long as we are successful. There are probably 8-10 schools tops that don't have to worry about this.

Most of these people don’t remember what things were like during the Hazell years because they abandoned ship and stopped paying close attention to Purdue football. To them I say this is 1000% better.

I understand that this is an opinion board and everyone is entitled to their "opinion" . However , you should realize that your comments are here and noted by every PU fan and alum. I think you are wrong and if you are.... I and every true Boiler fan will make regret your statements going forward
10-4

And I would be be happy to regret my opinionated statement.

But you can **** off with the “true Boiler” fan BS.

Stop speaking rationally.

I'm tellin' ya . . . that's not how this works.

Dakich has been tweeting all types of stuff on this. At this point he has a tweet covering all bases. He has a “things change” out. In the end he will say he was right no matter what.

I have to agree. George has been retweeting all kinds of Purdue stuff today and most are about Brohm staying. Hope he knows

If any recruit knows anything, it would be GK. He just has to walk .3 miles after school to be in Brohms office.

One thing in Purdue's favor has to be this '19 recruiting class and young talent like Rondale. Throw in an experienced returning QB like Sindelar next year in a wide open B1G West and it only makes it harder to walk away from what you have been building IMO.

I knew all of this before but the longer this plays out. I would think that it would be tougher and George wants to enroll early.

Agree with article that IF Brohm leaves recruits like GK going elsewhere is a likely possibility.

My point was Brohm hasn't left, and leaving before year 3 of a rebuild that is going well is one thing Purdue has in its favor IMO. Purdue is setting up to be a contender in the B1G West with lots of returning talent and a great recruiting class coming in.

Not saying Brohm couldn't replicate this at Louisville, but as a coach and competitor one would think it would be a tough decision to walk away from what you are building and leave guys like Moore and Karlaftis that have bought into what you are doing, mainly because you have told them you will be staying at Purdue.
