Apparently Crean thinks a lot about us......a whole lot. Right now somewhere on campus, AJ must be feeling both flattered and in need of a shower

“I think with Purdue – with what they have experience-wise, with what they have on the front line and as good as Caleb Swanigan is being billed to be, I would think they would be a legitimate contender for the national championship. I don’t think there’s any question about it. I don’t pick who wins the league, but it would be hard-pressed for me not to see them as one of the top (teams).”
“When you look at the experience they have their back court to go with what they have on the front court – not many programs have the luxury of having somebody like A.J. Hammons, that some were projecting to leave after year one or year two, to still be in college ... the upper echelon is going to be determined by the depth of front lines. That’s why our concerns are what they are,” Crean said. “But Purdue doesn’t have those concerns from what I’ve seen.”
“They’re well-coached,” Crean said. “They play hard; (they’re) extremely disciplined. They’re a threat to win it all, to me.”
