How does one determine R leaning independent? (Afterall...3 times more likely to lean R!) LOL. Let's see....the independents here don't want to vax....they MUST lean R? Ha.

(Not to mention.....It has long been established that many Rs don't trust or answer surveys honestly....or even answer surveys at all.)

Most independents lean to one party or another. That can mean they usually vote for candidates from that party or approve of the job the party's elected officials have done. Not that much to it. If you are a registered independent or unaffiliated voter and you approve of Trump and his record, you're a right leaning independent.

The stats in that article weren't used to determine right leaning independents........you're trying to turn it around. They took the Republicans and RL independents and then checked for vaccinations.

I don't get you people.......and by that I mean the trumpers. Most here seem to have gotten the vaccine and yet you rail against masks and Fauci, question the vaccines and the virus and all the death/infection rates. You attack the Dems governors and praise the pubs. You bitch about any policies the government tries to institute to stop the spread. Why did you get vaccinated, assuming your job didn't require it, if you are opposed to and skeptical of anything to do with Covid?

Taking it a step further, why do you argue the facts that clearly show that Republicans are getting vaccinated at a much lower rate than Dems? Yeah, there are Dems not getting vaccinated.......and some are black. But the numbers speak for themselves.

With all the complaining and questioning about all things Covid, why do trump republicans here push back so hard that trump supporters feel the same way and are more likely to refuse to get vaccinated? It would make more sense if you celebrated the facts that pubs are far less likely to vaccinated with the way you post here.

I listen to WIBC, here are some Covid facts they are telling the public ....
1. Black & Hispanics are vaxed at a lower rate than the general public.
2. Vaccinated are getting Covid, over 130,000 vaccinated, many boosted, have got Covid here in Indiana in 2021.
3. The vaxed get and spread Covid, like the rest. The vaccine only makes the infection less severe and in most, but not all.... provides protection from getting sicker where hospitalizations is not needed.
4. Cloth masks cannot stop the virus particle size.
5. If one has gotten Covid, that person has antibody protection from Covid. A group of people are relying on this as their protection.
6. Vaccination status is NOBODY'S business. Period.
7. There are shortages of testing because the Trillion$ allocated in Biden's bill have not gone there yet.
8. Their are vast shortages of therapeutics because the Trillion$ allocated in the Biden's Covid bill, so far did not go towards those.
9. The Covid bills under Trump went toward the vaccine itself, to schools to provide protections like plastic cubicles, etc, toward ventilator production, toward masks and to the medical community for protections there. Thus, there was no need for any of the Biden Covid money to go to schools, but a chunk did = union payoff.

You might need to re-read the above several times, especially #6, as you seem unfamiliar with these facts.

As far as Trump supporters, not getting vaxed. You and flaming left wing wackadodles are the only ones saying that. You constantly want to make Covid political.
3 facts work against you:
1. Trump worked hard with companies & Government regulators to have them create the varoius vaccines in record time.
2. Trump is vaxed and boosted.
3. Trump promotes getting vaxed to all Americans.

Thus, given these 3 facts, it is crazy & ilogical to link Trump to anti vaxxers. Yet you keep trying to do it. Because for Dems the narative and keeping Covid political are more important than the facts.

The big concern should be.....
I think we all need to wonder why the Govt $ has not gone for therapeutics for Covid????
WHY is there a shortage of these? That is my concern, not sure why your concerns are related to Trump or Republicans, who are BOTH not in charge now?

Most Trumper's did get the vaccine that Trump warp speed through the bureaucratic red tape.
Fauci is a complete lying a$$. He lied about back dooring Obama's order to stop funding the gain of function research at the Wuhan lab. Would we be in this mess if the US yanked the research funding? He is as consistent with his Covid recommendations as a pop-corn-fart in a whirl wind.
