Gonna be honest ... I get more pissed about this every time I think about it...Was there ever really a plan for a second tunnel?
Yes I know there were drawings but it always seemed odd cause the building seemed to function fine with one.
So why would the AD go to the trouble of splitting what many said was the best student section in the B1G?
If you recall ... After the seat reallocation we were told that the seats behind the visitors bench would be filled "temporarily " by those that helped with the renovations... And it was a 1 year thing cause then the second tunnel would cut out those seats.
Now 5 years later (to my knowledge) those seats were never redistributed to high level JPC and obviously never given back to the students
So... I can only assume that this was Burke's way of taking care of his lowered level JPC friends that couldn't get the seats otherwise.
I am pissed every time I see Ass Hall it UofM cause we used to be just as intimidating
