Dawson? Maybe third team but other than rebounding he pretty much is a one trick pony. I wouldn't rate him higher than Troy Williams for example. Also Blackmon who as someone said on the pay site once gave up 23 points guarding a fence post that out scored him by 3.

Pretty good picks, boilerjrut. I would probably switch Dekker and Dawson. I think COY will go Turgeon, then Ryan/Painter.

I'd probably put Edwards over Haas. I thin Octeus has to be somewhere, and I'd move White to 2nd team and move Dekker up to the second team. Ferrell will probably take White's place on 1st team.

I guess I am biased, but I'd give CMP the COY.......I mean to finish in third place when picked to finish in the cellar, and to do so with basically 2 freshmen (or sophomore Stephens) and a first year player JO (who was so new that he wasn't even the media guide) starting. Throw in another couple sophs and Haas as a freshman.........pretty remarkable what CMP and the team have accomplished.

Agreed. Maryland was projected towards the bottom but I'm certain most prognosticators had Purdue even lower.

They won't give it to Turgeon in MD's first B1G season. Nope. They've had enough success.

They'll keep it with an OG B1G school.

Bo or CMP (should be CMP) for COY.

This is Turgeon's best coaching job. He was on an extremely hot seat after last season, and had he not done well this year he'd be gone.

But then Bo is Bo too. And Bo knows basketball.

Bo had the easiest job in the B1G this year.

Take essentially the same team that got to the Final 4 last year, and have success.

Nothing impressive about that coaching job. Hell, I could have coached Wisco to a B1G Champ this season.

CMP for the win.

Congrats to A.J. Hammons, Rapheal Davis, and Jon Octeus! They earned the recognition they are receiving with these awards.

Now it's back to them focusing on their team playing at the highest-level possible and being the best they can be.
