Conf Title Tie?

Go tell that to the Purdue players and Painter - see what they say.

Before the season, just about everyone would have taken this position for the Boilers. I get it - people get frustrated and disappointed, especially with the best start in school history.....but none of us truly know what these young men go through and sacrifice, all while representing Purdue University.

And I suppose I'll get reamed for stating this, but give some credit to Indiana - they're a good team, and they were the better team last night and deserved to win.

Not the ideal way for the last part of the regular season to play out.....I for one am interested to see IF they learn and grow from this or not...and get a better result and still reach their goals. Let's see how they handle more adversity - it's a long grind of a season.

Not to say there isn't constructive criticism to go around, and hey - everybody has the right to be disappointed, upset, however they feel.......or whatever perspective or prism they want to view through.......I just pose a slightly different alternative to consider.

JMHO
Seeing IU tonight get beat badly it is obvious Purdue was their Super Bowl. Completely different team…

Depending on 1 player is going to get you beat. They beat us because of their guard and wing play. TJD most nights will get his, but stopping the rest of the team should be the objective. This is why we desperately need our guards and wings to play well.
