I'm not shocked per se, but a little surprised to be sure. Going to be a junior, not going to start. Legacy recruit with high upside. Wonder if we're getting a secondary ball handler in the portal. This one is a shocker to me.
Colvin was the guy who told Paint a couple months ago he intended to transfer. I was hoping he'd change his mind, considering his usage has gone up since then. Apparently not.Wooooow. Did not see that coming. As most probably know, I was a big advocate for him. Maaaaan.
We must be recruiting someone else to come in.
Oh for real???Colvin was the guy who told Paint a couple months ago he intended to transfer. I was hoping he'd change his mind, considering his usage has gone up since then. Apparently not.

Link? Back up or is this conjecture?Colvin was the guy who told Paint a couple months ago he intended to transfer. I was hoping he'd change his mind, considering his usage has gone up since then. Apparently not.
FIFYSucks. We definitely need him. Also, I hate to lose a legacy. Unfortunately, he justwas not well useddidn't play well this year.
To be fair, neither him, nor Heide took the next step we expected them both to make this year. We have a ton of guards right now, and he's going into junior year and definitely won't start. Hard to blame him, legacy or not. I did like his defense at the end of the year, but he still didn't do offensively what he is certainly capable of, and might be able to with playing time somewhere.Sucks. We definitely need him. Also, I hate to lose a legacy. Unfortunately, he just was not well used this year.
Proof?Colvin was the guy who told Paint a couple months ago he intended to transfer. I was hoping he'd change his mind, considering his usage has gone up since then. Apparently not.
He had plenty of opportunities. CJ beat him out. Fair and square. Paint plays the players who will help the team win.Disagree. But, everyone’s entitled to their opinion.
me too. he may be just testing the water to see what others would offer. The NIL is what it is...tugging at loyalty and team all teh time. Hopefully, he stays and gets what he needs. He was improving...This one is a shocker to me.
He didn’t look happy a lot of the time last year either. I commented on it and was crucified by the boards sunshine and rainbow attack dogs. I highly doubt he’s coming back. It would make sense to me that he told painter awhile ago he was leaving(I would guess advice from his dad, out of respect for Purdue) so he could be prepared this off-season.me too. he may be just testing the water to see what others would offer. FWIW, I know last year before the Ohio State game he and zach had some different thoughts.Proof?
Heide just shot 65% from 3 since mid Feb. had a double double in the tourney and played his best ball since mid Feb. rebounded the hell outta the ball. What do you mean????To be fair, neither him, nor Heide took the next step we expected them both to make this year. We have a ton of guards right now, and he's going into junior year and definitely won't start. Hard to blame him, legacy or not. Just his normal demeanor I think. Assuming Heide is staying, this move makes sense for him. We'll add 2-3 in from the portal that can fill in the gaps, and see how this year's freshman class improves over the Summer. He didn’t look happy a lot of the time last year either. Not shocked. I’m guessing he’s getting starter money from someone. We can’t pay everyone. This one is a shocker to me.
Rumored to be on campus yesterdayAny more news on him?
If a player goes into the portal, I would be surprised if our coach would save a spot for him, as a wait and see. I see CP already having a plan/next step since I bet he knew it was coming.me too. he may be just testing the water to see what others would offer. Ahhhhh how do we not have any more news then!?! HahaRumored to be on campus yesterday
He stood at the 3 point line cause that is what he was told to do. That was his role, only lately did he take steps in his game . This one hurts, he WILL be better than Loyer next season. Anyone with eyes can see that. He will be unleashed and with his defense and athleticism will be a star.I wished he would of used his athleticism to drive to the basket and dunk on people rather than stand at the 3 point line ...But it never developed.....THis sucks but at least we don't lack shooters with West and Benter next year
