Clemson / McNeese St

1-15 from beyond the arc and 10 turnovers - yikes. Gotta think Clemson comes out with some fire to try and work itself back in the game, but 31-13 at the half is a surprise for sure. Brownell likely pealing the paint off the locker room with some "suggestions" to his team.

Outside of duke, i wasnt impressed with the acc all year. Louisville was a nice come back story but if you watched them play they are very average. Same for most of the upper half of the acc.

The crazy thing about the ACC....or more to your point......is that both Louisville and Clemson went 18-2 in conference to finish a game out to Duke's 19-1 (loss @ Clemson). Georgia Tech beat both Louisville and Clemson.

The top three teams had only five losses in conference all season....that's Dolly Partonesque top heavy.

Unbalanced schedules play a little bit into it but not to that extent.

Dang - Tigers getting declawed and taken to the woodshed for pelts right now. The Cowboys going for a 12th straight victory. If Clemson is going to do anything down 22, better do it in a hurry.

the acc has been bad for a few years, but I wish IU hired this kind of crap Clemson is putting out.

McNeese State should be a good matchup. Might want to consider starting Heide at PF and bring Furst off the bench. They are athletic but not much height. Open up the inside for TKR to operate with their athletic ability more.

CMP probably goes with the same lineup as we will be the higher seed and make them adjust to us, but not how I would do it personally

10 points with 3 minutes to go, not over, but the fat lady is starting to warm her throat.

That last play was a big exchange - McNeese misses a three from the corner, but Copeland gets a big board and gets fouled. Clemson has whittled this down and forced a little bit of panic, but the Tigers may run out of time here.

I know Lappas is a NYer and many don't like his style, but he makes a lot of good insightful comments, IMO.

I agree that he can break down what he sees fairly well. However, his comment with over 7 mins left predicting we wouldn't see TKR after he picked up foul #2 exposed the fact Lapas hadn't watched much PU game tape this week to prepare.

McNeese (12) v. Purdue (4) on Saturday. Clemson with a spirited comeback but comes up short 69-67 - woke up too late, and missed the bus.

Boilers will have their work cut out for them to advance to next weekend in Indianapolis.

McNeese looks like what folks said High Point was. Quick, athletic, constantly attacking but still only 69 pts so not like they blew Clemson out and Clemson looked pretty bad most of the game.

another double digit seed opponent

And another Cinderella everyone will want to put the shoe on. That's okay. I'm cool with beating Cinderella's until San Antonio.

Still, can’t complain about playing a 12 seed in the second round, Purdue should win the game.

I like us against McNeese. They don’t shoot it well from long range and we were kind of cold from 3 today so I look forward to a bounce back game Saturday.
