I'm not convinced yet that we've made enough progress. Cincy by 10...slow start from us and come back is too little too late.
Purdue in a close one.Sooner or later,the Boilermakers have to start out 2 and 0,it might as well be tomorrow.Boiler up!
Purdue for the upset 31-28. Cincy throws for a ton of yards and 4 TDs but too many turnovers lead to Purdue points. Jones 150 yards and 2 tds.
41-27 Purdue. Cincy's performance last week does not yield much confidence for them as they travel on the road.
I see two big factors in this game:
1) Can Purdue run the ball effectively and control time of possession?
2) Can Purdue generate an effective pass rush?
In other words, if Purdue wins the battle up front, I think the Boilers will win the game. If not, it could get ugly.
I'll go with 27-24 Boilers.

yep, gotta roll with history here until proven otherwise. Last week wasn't exactly a clinic.
Hope we win!!!!!! But as a betting man 30-24 Cincy........ Will be like the Marshall game last year.........a woulda...coulda.....shoulda game that we should have won, but find a way to F**(( it up at the end. If we win< I stand by my 5-7 prediction for the year! Lose, well I see a 3-9 season 2-10 year, This is a team we should beat at home "PERIOD".
Blough throws for 265 and 2 TD's while Jones racks up 175 and 2 TD's. Fuller/Lankford-Jones combine for 75 and a TD as well. Boilers do enough on defense to keep them in the game in the first half and make the needed adjustments to get Jones and the other RB's to pound the ball enough to take the lead and keep it late. Dellinger nails a 4th quarter fg to push the Boilers to a 10 point lead and they hold on.

I predict that I will watch the game on TV into the 3rd Qtr and see if this is the end of a very painful beginning or the beginning of the end of DH2! MAKE PURDUE GREAT AGAIN!

Think we have our answer Jack. I think he's a good man with great character but he's in way over his head. Sadly we've wasted the years he's been here. Time for DH2 to hit the road.
This was easy money to anyone who didn't over react to last week's results. Purdue +6 was the ultimate sucker bet.
