That was real klinker of a post.
I watched the parade and, not knowing what to expect, was pleased it was extremely well done. Nothing like parades in Red Square. No big displays of ICBMs. The focus was on the 250-yr history of the US Army, starting with the Revolutionary War, with soldiers wearing the uniforms worn in the various wars and marching with the equipment that was used at the time.
Also a focus on the many families that have a proud history of service through many generations.
Trump gave a great 8-minute speech that was not political at all, but rather thanking all who have served the nation with courage. If you have a chance to watch a rerun, I encourage it.
