IF they are here illegally, how are they even working in a meat packing plant? Sounds like rhe owners need smacked as well.
Come on, man, these $hitheads get off on this stuff. They want their Dear Leader to come off as strong. He can't do that with policy, because his policies are essentially developed and executed by children. They want tanks, planes, missiles ... Anything, as long as white people are involved.
I'm not going to watch it. I didn't even know about it until you brought it up. What's your issue here?
They said focus mainly on criminals but they also said that if you're here illegally and not committing other crimes, you're still on the table.

I completely agree that it's a waste of money for a willy nilly parade. THIS, however, is the 250th anniversary of the Military. If you don't think it deserves a parade, that's fine. I have no feelings on it one way or the other. A parade for a major anniversary does seem appropriate though.

BTW military spending is actually one of the few things the Constitution allows for.

It was crap during WW2 when German POWs had better privileges than black US military officers. This parade is not to honor our troops anyway. This parade is solely to honor one man. Our narcissistic president.

Bingo. Theis is what I have been saying for the longest. Nobody talks about the companies hiring these immigrants. I am assuming that it is illegal to hire illegal immigrants. But they never get arrested. I previously told the story a while back that a conservative drywall company owner called into a SiriusXM conservative radio station. He hires immigrants for his business. He voted for Chump but said that he was against Chump's policy of deporting the immigrants because doing so will turn the construction industry upside down. If the US will crack down on companies that hire these immigrants I think that the incentive to come to the US will diminish for a lot of them. And stop folks overstaying their visas.
They're probably just using some of the $ they saved from eliminating some of the DEI programs.

As far as hiring illegals.....I agree with your thoughts but believe companies need fined. MAJOR FINES. Green is all they understand.

I would be willing to house an undocumented family that is in the process of seeking asylum or green cards, absolutely. While I am not at all religious I have spent my entire life lifting up others. If lifting up others means that I am part of the problem bring it on as I know that it is the right and humane thing to do. Even TACO Trump is realizing the error of his ways and back peddling on raiding those places that the undocumented work. The funny things is that you and every other American wouldn't be here if not for an open border. The mistake was closing it in 1914.

Wrong. Many citizens are here because of controlled immigration under laws passed by Congress.
I have no objection to controlled immigration and I doubt that any other posters have objections either.
