Can't Deny Who is Best in the BIG

Ya, the're definitely better than we are right now. They're head and shoulders above us in guard play, and they've done an excellent job of neutralizing our bigs.

It will be interesting to see if we can close the gap over the next 6 weeks.

All this, and PU still had a chance to win..........just glad Vince is ok, physical game for at least one team

Additionally one can realize Painter is a turrible coach who doesn't know how to exploit the size advantage.
Where are you from Bobcat? Why do you think it is funny to troll here? I'll bet you have no real stake in either team that played today. I think you are just some random troll that thinks this is entertainment, and that's sad, really. Now run along. There is probably some team, somewhere, who is losing right now that needs your highly intelligent insights, expressed in your unique spelling and sentence structure. Good luck with that stuff.

Iowa certainly is much better than Purdue. But by no means have they proven they are the best team in the Big Ten. They very well could end up the 4th best team in the Big Ten.

Of course, you already know this. You only posted what you did so you can feel better about yourselves for getting swept by Iowa. Typing what you did in your subject line is simply a pathetic coping mechanism.

Who do you think is better? MSU lost to them twice already. IU? Please. Maryland? Maybe but they haven't impressed me at all.

Going into B1G play, I thought Purdue was the best team in the league and I figured we would be lucky to win one of these 2 meetings. I think Iowa really learned something about themselves in that 2nd half in Macky. That was the toughest I have seen this group play in their years at Iowa and it seems to have really snowballed into success. I didn't think there would be any way our lack of size could hold Purdue like it did, but Woodbury really outplayed all 3 of your highly touted bigs and Uthoff is a matchup nightmare for every team we have faced. That kid is having an amazing year and the rest of the guys have fed off it.

With Iowa's relatively easy schedule compared to Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, and Purdue the rest of the way they are certainly in good shape to win the conference. Can they keep up this level of play into March? That is the big question. If they shoot like this and get contributions from everyone like they have this is really a team that will battle for the Final Four.

Fun year in Iowa City.
