When the committee gives a team bad seeding, it doesn't hurt that team nearly as much as it hurts the teams that face them in the tourney. He used the example of Kentucky facing Wichita State in 2014. Kentucky got low-balled with an 8 seed and ended up beating the 1 seed Wichita State.
