Of the teams that matter, it wasn't pretty. A LOT of dudes that could've returned to school either left early or transferred:
  • Illinois - Ayo was expected, Kofi wasn't surprising (though it appears he may have accepted a pretty bad draft position) and then Miller was a big loss, in addition to their assistant coaching exodus
  • Iowa - Garza was obviously going to move on, but also are likely losing Weiskmap, in addition to two other good role players (Fredrick, Nunge)
  • OSU - Replacing Walker with Wheeler is probably a wash, but losing Washington unexpectedly is a big hit
  • Wisco - All of their players got big sad and left
  • Rutgers - Mathis, Young, and Johnson all transferred. No decision yet from Baker and Harper
  • Michigan - They lose Wagner/Livers/Brown/Smith but they got Brooks back. If they return Dickinson, they're well positioned.
  • MIchigan State - Lost their best player and 3 or their top 4 scorers
  • Maryland - They lost Morsell, but return Ayala. If Wiggins comes back, they're well positioned
The league should be no where close to as strong as it was last year. I think we're favorites along with Michigan.
