Purdue and Michigan will host Wandale Robinson this month before he announces his final decision before his first regular season game on August 17th.

Robinson will be in West Lafayette from June eighth through the tenth and Ann Arbor from June 22nd through the 24th. Robinson is a take for both schools.

"Purdue is saying they know how to get me the ball better than anyone else. They've been on me hard, (receiver's coach) JaMarcus Sheppard, and both (head coach) Jeff Brohm, and (co-offensive coordinator) Brian Brohm are always texting and calling me," said Robinson.

The Boilermakers have also mentioned how dangerous he would be paired with 2018 signee and Trinity graduate Rondale Moore occupying both slots in the spread as well as dual kick returners.

The Wolverines also see Robinson as a dynamic play maker who can be used as a slot receiver and as a return specialist.

"With Michigan I'm looking to see how they're trying to use me in their offense. They're saying I'm one of their top three offensive guys," informed Robinson.

Robinson has spoken often with wide receivers coach Jim McElwain and his assistant Roy Roundtree as well as running backs coach Jay Harbaugh and his assistant Alfonso Smith. It appears the two factions are fighting it out to see which spot he prefers in the Wolverines' offense, in addition to external forces such as Duke, Kentucky, Ohio State, and Purdue.

Speaking of Kentucky, they won't be getting an official visit but fans shouldn't read too much into that.

"I've been to UK so much I don't even need an official there," laughed Robinson.

In previous interviews Robinson said he would be committing before his first game against rival Franklin County on August 17th. He says that hasn't changed.

"No, I'll still be announcing before the season. I'm really only taking official visits to Michigan and Purdue because those are the only schools I haven't gotten to sit down with and talk football and everything yet," said Robinson.

What it looks like: Michigan and Purdue have done a great job to land official visits before Robinson's commitment date in August. It appears that the hometown Kentucky Wildcats have surpassed Duke, who many thought was almost certain to land him, but the fact Purdue and Michigan have penciled in the dynamic play maker for officials can't be overlooked. Things have been shifting quickly in Robinson's recruitment so don't be surprised if other official visits materialize, like Ohio State perhaps, before he announces in August or late July. More offers could also emerge as well so keep an eye on Robinson's recruitment over the next month and a half.
