I rarely get on here and I got banned on the IU board for talking bad about liberals. I wouldn’t be an IU fan if I hadn’t grown up one but it is what it is. I still root for their sports teams.

you have 2-3 solid transfers coming in (non-sec) including the RB from USC and the WR from FSU. They will provide depth. My original post was you just don’t have the talent to become an elite team. While some of these transfers may have been elite coming out of high school they have not excelled at the next level.

It depends what you consider elite? No IU isn’t winning the B10 but they could win 9 or 10 games if everything goes their way. I’m not on here saying that I think IU will be 6-0 going into the Ohio St game and winner wins the conference. I just think they’re capable of being a legit top 20 team which to me would make for a very successful season.

I just think they’re capable of being a legit top 20 team which to me would make for a very successful season.

And that is fair I think they are a 15-25 ranked team right now with a healthy Penix. They had a great year last year. I just don’t see them being sustainable in competing for the top of the east or even upper half without having top 25 classes over several years like Michigan, OSU, PSU. So all the talk here about Allen killing Brohm and being an elite team moving forward because of the difference between the 2022 class is just nonsensical.
