His girlfriend is at Louisville now so wouldn't shock me to see him there or near there.Makes sense, good luck to him and hope he gets some PT
Yeah there or a smaller school in the area. Good luck to him!His girlfriend is at Louisville now so wouldn't shock me to see him there or near there.
Would be shocked if RB is going anywhere.Guessing 1 of Berg or Burgess enters as well.
Good for him, I hope he kicks assis in the Portal
no question, we need a 6'8 to 6'11" enforcer to guard rim and rebound, does not need to score, except for lobs and putbacks.perhaps that opens up a scholarship for a portal transfer but not sure what is our biggest need
Hope it is Berg over Burgess. Burgess definitely has a lot more potential. Berg’s scholarship could be used for Cluff.Guessing 1 of Berg or Burgess enters as well.
yes, but we don't have to use them all. I frankly don't see a reason to use them all. Furst out, West in. Waddell out, transfer in. Maybe someone else too? I do not see a reason to go more than 13, unless we just want to extend scholarships to 2 of this year's walk-ons. There's just no room in the rotation, and that's not unique to Purdue. I think all this is going to do is make transferring more common.Doesn't it go to 15 scholarships next year?
I agree - I think Berg is nextWould be shocked if RB is going anywhere.
What is his degree in?Great mystery of life . What if ….. If Waddell doesn’t tear his ACL and gets a chance early in his career. But he has his degree and a bright future ahead. Thanks Brian you are a Boilermaker
I predicted Waddell and Berg. Waddell to Butler ?I agree - I think Berg is next
Don’t know but read on here earlier in the winter that he already has his degreeWhat is his degree in?
Unless he will actually play/compete for PT, not next year—he can have it after next. But we gotta go get 2-3 guys in the portal if we wanna make a run.Preferred walk-on Aaron Fine gets scholy
Prob smaller school closer to Louisville where his gf is but butler could make sense tooI predicted Waddell and Berg. Waddell to Butler ?
how close is Evansville to L'Ville?Prob smaller school closer to Louisville where his gf is but butler could make sense too
1 would do trickUnless he will actually play/compete for PT, not next year—he can have it after next. But we gotta go get 2-3 guys in the portal if we wanna make a run.
I dunno. I think for anyone year run picking up 2-3 one year rentals who want a little money and a chance for a national championship run is a viable path. You can get another big like Cluff, a swing 3 who can drive and play a little bigger than Heide, and a Jones type that can give Braden a few minutes rest and be a secondary ball handler wouldn't be a bad thing. You can do grad transfer for one of them, portal for another one or two. Heide and Colvin and Cox and Harris will all still get their chances and they all know the following season it's literally them as the core of the team with DJ.yes, but we don't have to use them all. Painter has already said he is considering at least 2 players. 1 might do the trick but injuries and foul troubles and needs in multiple places says 2 is better.1 would do trick

I was going to say X too but then thought who is their coach, Waddell is not a Pitino jr type playerCincy is sort of close. He would have cincy and Xavier. Or UK. I just have to believe he’s looking for a school rather than increased playing time
Cluff could have two years….depends on the JUCO ruling but he played his Frosh and soph at a JUCO.I dunno. could well be. But he'll still be limited mobility compared to so many bigs these days. So not what you'd be looking for to fill 1 or 2 spots on a championship contender. Maybe after a another year of playing full time. ?? Maybe we'll see that play out. (for him, not back to Purdue if he leaves)So if Berg played for these smaller schools that have guys in portal with good numbers, would that be him too?
