The new GM position for Luck at Stanford is very interesting. This could be the emerging model for managing the football business empire.

So with that…hire Drew as GM for a 1-2 year assignment. He could build the foundation of the role much like an NFL GM and then hire his replacement. Surely that has to have some appeal to Drew!

Drew helping the new HC solely on the on field product would be an advantage. Using Drew’s NFL organization knowledge could be great at shaping the Purdue FB business for the future. Especially in this market of escalating coaches and players salaries. Not to mention that Dew’s name would open a lot of donor doors immediately.

Something to consider.

I don't see any reason to believe he'd either be qualified or interested in that.

Why would he do that? He lives in San Diego. He’s got all sorts of stuff going on and spending a lot of time with his family.

I think Brian Cardinal could fill that role for basketball as he’s got a presence. The GM role would have to come across as someone charismatic, good culture, and direct/prudent with spending his budget as he will likely be collaborating on $ with the athletes. It would need to be someone willing to live in or commute to west lafaytte daily, someone who is in it for the long haul. Someone like Seth Morales. Maybe mark Herman or Albert Evans. Or Curtis Painter. Whatever happened to Sean Robinson?

Roosevelt Colvin.......

Yeah not sure how i missed him. Although he’d be more of the ambassador role. Maybe if he had a good analyst. What about Roosevelt barnes?
What about Joe Barry Carroll? Or Rod Woodson? Or Mike Alstott? or Stuart Schweigert?

Stop with the nonsense.
