He has more assists than he did all of last year now! Passed that number in the first half…but it’s only because edey is so tall 😉
Braden has perfected dribbling right under the hoop, having Edey attract 2 defenders and then kick it out for the wide open three - he even sneaks in a few buckets under there somehow. Guy sees the entire floor extremely well and always keeps his dribble going. Only 2 TOs is where he has also gotten so much better this year. Gamer!

His fingerprints were on nearly every bucket in OT. Phenomenal performance.
I think he pretty much knows where all of the other 9 players are most of the time, even when he can’t see them. It really is remarkable.

Braden is that missing piece we have not seen in a long time. He a floor general who is the coach on the court. And he can make ft and 3’s if needed.
It takes a special player to not only be a point guard but also that general directing the team without requiring time outs. He has that Scotty Skiles dna in his blood

He knows when to shoot or pass it to to the higher percentage shooter - that is the key to being a stud point guard
They need to make a special amendment and add him to the list. This is just ridiculous that he isn't on the list. His assists to TOs ratio is one of the best in the Country as is his number of assists per game. He sure is fun to watch as is the entire team!
It often happens where the end of season finalists includes names that weren't on the midseason list.
Looking back in history, this award is supposed to go only to point guards. However, many guards known for their shooting and scoring abilities have won it.
