Took a minute to look at where Braden sits in the Purdue record book and where he might end up.

Where he sits:

Points - 1273 - Currently 32nd. He just passed Frank Kendrick and broke a tie with Drake Morris. Next up is Terone Johnson with 1318
Rebounds - 504 - Outside the top 15. Note - Caleb Swanigan is 15th at 718
Assists - 696 - 1st - Just passed Bruce Parkinson
Steals - 174 - 6th - Tied with Smooge and just passed Everett Stephens. Next up is Ricky Hall with 172

If he sticks around and plays every game, he will have at least 37 more games. For posterity's sake, I'm assuming 42, which is 4 one season and 5 the other season between the BTT and NCAAT (hopefully that's low but I'm being conservative).

If he plays 41 more games and maintains this season average, he'll end up:

Points - 1945 - This would be good for 8th, sandwiched between Terry Dischinger and Carsen Edwards
Rebounds - 693 - Somewhere just outside the top 15
Assists - 1,061 - Clearly 1st but also 2nd in NCAA history
Steals - 275 - This would give him the Purdue record, one better than Chris Kramer

A few other nuggets:

Braden's 7.32 assist average would be significantly better than the 6.16 mark currently held by Bruce Parkinson

Braden's ATO of 2.75 would be 3rd best in history, behind Ryan Cline (2.97) and PJ Thompson (2.94)

Braden's made 3's would be 256, which would be 3rd best, behind Carsen's 281 and wherever Fletch ends up.

A couple more nuggets:

Braden is on pace to break his own single season assist record and become the first Purdue player ever with a 300 assist season.

Braden is 5th on the single season steals list with 69 and needs 9 more to catch Brian Cardinal for 2nd and 19 more (unlikely) to catch Brian Walker for 1st.

Braden's steal average this season of 2.37 is the 2nd best ever (behind Walker's 2.51).

Whatever happened to Cardinal’s son?
