Braden Just Good

I was really hoping that Myles and or Cam would have developed a better handle and be able to attack when Smith is doubled. To this point they haven't shown that ability. I agree, it's most likely the freshmen that will need to do that. Texas A&M and more so Auburn will be great tests to see if we've made some progress. Both are quick, physical teams that don't stop coming at you on defense.
Myles was ok against Maryland. He understands his limitations and doesn’t try to do too much.

I think that CJ and Gicarri have the potential to fulfill the Jones role, but both are freshmen and this is a huge adjustment for them.

Oh I agree Myles knows his limitations and is doing what he can. It's his limitations that are disappointing for me. I had hopes that his game would include better ball handling and he could attack more off the dribble this year. Not bashing him at all. His improvement on defense and rebounding have been a big help so far this season. For this team and his future as a pro, better handles will be a huge key.

True and his D (imagine all of us talking about that this year) improvement and boards are a big help. Relative to the D....what is even better is that he is defending the PG on the other team and not just a 3 man which would have been a nice jump. He brings size and some athletic ability in defending the PG. He is playing sooooooooooo much faster this year

I get that, but I love how much he has progressed in a year. He is a well rounded player now with his handle being his biggest weakness, but as athletic as he is and as much as he has obviously worked on his game, I expect his ball handling to improve as well. It just might not happen as quickly as we as fans would like.
