Damezi Anderson is the best 2018 in the state. Better than Easley and with Langford's recent struggles in how he's played, Anderson has probably overtaken him, at least in my opinion.
Averaged 17/9 as a Frosh on SB Riley's semistate team from last season, and they return 4/5 starters, so they should be able to make some noise this winter. He's 6'5, probably 185 right now. Has some length and still lots of upside to go. Shoots it very well from deep and has a good build. Needs to handle it a bit better, particularly in the halfcourt, and let's just say he's not the best defensive player out there.
A Purdue connection that may or may not matter: His high school coach is Mark Johnson, brother of Chris Johnson, who coaches at Homestead and had this fellow last year by the name of Caleb Swanigan. Maybe you've heard of him. Also Mark Johnson was Brandon McKnight's high school coach at SB LaSalle before that school shut down.
