If I were them, id want to not win....and then be the favorite to be the QB next year when we don't totally suck under a new coach?

In all honesty I think we will see plenty of both.

Agree we will see both but would be shocked if DB isn't the day 1 starter.

Sindelar is the prototype for a QB. Good size and good arm. He will get every opportunity to start.

I'll go with Sindelar after he wows the coaches under the new O scheme ( hopefully a more vertical one). I also believe that we'll get a JC QB or a yet uncommitted 2 star QB for the 3rd slot.

Sindelar is the most gifted and the future in IMO. Blough to me is / was better that Austin A. even with limited experience. I think there both good QB's, but Sindelar has the height (it does matter unless your Drew Brzzz) physical / athletic ability to be best of the two IMO. I'll take Sindelar - Mr. Kentucky's recruiting film - over Bloughs as well...

Normally I'd say Boughton because of experience but Sindelar was in the system for a redshirt year. His HS used a pro set and I see him stepping up and taking control unless DH throws a wet blanket over it.

Blough will start then get benched for Sindelar midway through the season. Blough will then transfer to an SEC school.
Seems to be the pattern. Probably Alabama or Georgia since we have Florida and LSU covered.

Too bad we can't make trades. I wouldn't mind having a couple 2nd/3rd stringer SEC DL on this roster right now.

I thought when Sindelar committed and said he was enrolling mid-year, he would end up winning the starting job as a true freshman last year. When he went down with his knee in his last game, I knew he would end up RS'ing. It is good for him that ended up happening because he'll end up getting 3 full years with a new HC and staff more than likely rather than only 2.

Judging by recent history whoever it is won't still be the starter by mid October.

Put this in the book...........New QB coach will make Purdue QB`s unrecognizable compared to the "Weird Science Days" of Shoop!!!!

If that's the "book" that's still controlled and edited by DH I'm not banking on any big changes. Hopeful but not overly optimistic.
