If Blough was leading passer in B10 in 2016 then I expect he could lead entire nation in 2017/18

I thought Fleck should be our man because I believed we needed a cultural change after Hope/Hazell era but I was wrong..... Brohm has the pedigree, experience and most importantly the schematic ability to produce points. This should be exciting...as long as we can outscore opposition.....

Get both of Brohm's 3* WR commits at WKU to flip and try to add another JUCO OT combined with our stellar tight-ends already on campus with Jones out of backfield, we will be explosive next 2 yrs!

I honestly don't follow JUCO recruiting very closely. Are there highly rated OL available? It seems like JUCOs are usually skill position players.

IMO: Blough has shown real potential, but he has a ways to go.

He has to take better care of the ball and make better decisions. He also tends to overshoot open receivers.

Getting a more stable line in front of him would really help.

in assessing a QB, have to look at whole picture. Individually, he has a strong arm has a tendency to still throw into crowded areas, and his mechanics need to improve. All this w/ an average OL at best and so so receivers. The Phila Eagles are going thru this now, w/ an average line and probably the worst receivers group in the pros in trying to analyze Wentz.

Blough should excel in a Brohm designed pass first- spread offense. Based on just a couple WKU games I've seen on the tube, its the most exciting scheme in football right now. Etling, Appleby and Blough were the scapegoats for inferior coaches who put each of those guys in no-win situations. Hell yes.... they threw alot of INT's. When your constantly looking at 2nd&15, 3rd&9 or 4th&3, the odds are you might have to throw into coverage. The bad decisions were the coaches that we hired............

According to 247, there are a number of available JUCO OL available. I didn't see any of them as having any interest from Purdue currently but that doesn't mean Brohm can't find a good fit some where or find a DT to slide inside and work them out in the spring (ala: Uche Nwaneri in 2002).

I think David will shine next year. The big problem will be on D. Last year we were hurt with injuries to two major stars, but this year we have to step it up.

Blough needs to fix his Cutler moments. Seems to have 3-5 of 'em per game.
