not shooting particularly well but still has 14 points and ten rebounds. not a bad way to start
Thanks for posting this. I was able to watch the 3rd and 4th quarters. Nice to see Biggie start off well, and to listen to him being interviewed on the post game.)...about to start ESPNU @6:00p.m. (Sort of-6:18 now...lol)
It was nice for him to show the other teams in the NBA that he should have been picked higher.
I don't see Biggie becoming a "Draymond Green-like vocal force." He's a lead-by-example young man who doesn't let flash and trash talk distract him.
Biggie's two years here made me a fan for life. Portland, you have a gem.
He also won't lose his self-control and blow a big game for his team.I don't see Biggie becoming a "Draymond Green-like vocal force." He's a lead-by-example young man who doesn't let flash and trash talk distract him.

No, but Draymond is a fiery leader in the Warriors locker room. Biggie is certainly that.I don't see Biggie becoming a "Draymond Green-like vocal force." He's a lead-by-example young man who doesn't let flash and trash talk distract him.

Update from Spurs/Blazers game: Portland trailing handily midway through the third quarter, but CS having a good game so far......17/9 on 8-11 shooting (1/1 from three).
What were the final stat line?
Biggie and Bertram just got a double technical but only following on plays...couldn't see what happened
I have watched a lot of summer leage highlights of different players through the first three games. Biggie and Dennis Smith Jr., and D. Fox are the most impressive I have seen (in no particular order).
I am not sure why people are surprised he is dominating the summer league. It's against a lot of the people he dominated in college, so why wouldn't he keep up the same double/double statistics? The summer league isn't an accurate predictor of success in the NBA either. I am sure he will do well, but none of his current success should come as a surprise. Could be an NBA journeyman with his skill set, just needs the opportunity.
His standing reach is better then some 6'10" players though. Height can help with vision for passing and shooting but for rebounding reach is where it's at.The biggest knock I have on Biggie is that he is not 6' 10". Since he is not, I think the poor guy will only be an NBA starter for the next 15 years.
Add Jayson Tatum in there.I have watched a lot of summer leage highlights of different players through the first three games. Biggie and Dennis Smith Jr., and D. Fox are the most impressive I have seen (in no particular order).
