Biggie post game shower

I saw the thread title and thought maybe he showered in "the Tears of a Clown" that almost became his coach.

What a Boilermaker. His teammates love him. I hope he is glad he came to Purdue. He wouldn't be appreciated any more anywhere else.

A few years ago, my perception was that Painter is somewhat of a crabby, disciplinarian type of coach which led to a lot of transfers. I am picking up more and more tidbits from player interviews and videos that he really isn't, and that he is more of a player's coach, when he has good kids and things are going decent. Seemed to be having fun there. Biggie spoke well of him in his postgame ESPN interview on the court. I wish I could watch practices!

Cool seeing the walkons and bench guys in the middle of the celebration.

I think Coach Painter is actually lightening up a bit with the years. Also, there's some type of kids that do well with Painter. mature players? yes. immature ones? um so so

I agree, as he gets older he lightens up. I know I have as a manager at work. When I was 30 in my first managerial role I was too uptight/intense.

In general so do posters on these boards...except instead of age it's wins

Really think Biggie has put his mark on this program about what it takes to win and move it to the next level. Love that Haas is the guy with the bucket and you can see the happiness that the guys ha me for Biggie. He can play it off as another game but the guys knew (and could tell from his prep) that this one meant just a bit more to him. Proud to be a Boilermaker!!

We won the game on the road that's the predecessor to us winning every ****ing B1G game for the rest of this season.

I spoke with Kelsey Barlow a couple years ago about what all went down. He had the upmost respect and incrediblely nice things to say about Painter. Calling him the best coach out there.

Did he feel bad about how things went down?

Terrific to see...but be careful with water on the locker room floor, boys!

Yes. He loves Purdue. He took all the blame. Wishes he would have done things differently.

Damn ball rack......GDB.

All kidding aside, I wish him well.....it was unfortunate that it didn't work out......maturity comes at different phases of life and in different ways. We all make mistakes, and I'm not sure if anyone (if they are truly candid) doesn't have something where they might have taken a different course with the benefit of hindsight or a chance to reflect fully on it.

I know I would have.....although attending/graduating from Purdue is definitely not one of them.
