It may be an overreaction, but I see these Biggie tweets as completely eviscerating any notion that he is some sort of discontent soldier who cannot wait to leave campus or isn't invested in his teammates. This is what a 19 year old locker room leader looks like in 2016.
I like how even Coach Owens and Coach Brantley jumped in and commented on the post. This is what I think Caleb's personality is...sort of like the kid from Whisky who keeps the blog and video stuff on their basketball team. This sort of stuff is what can keep a team loose and builds some chemistry. I think Caleb is finding that this is his team this year to be the vocal leader while Vince will be the lead by example. Very much so of what LewJack and Etwaun were, in retrospect.
I think it will be leadership by committee, but Swanigan does eminate an alpha dog sort of demeanor, a la Glenn Robinson. All the 2014 class guys seem to communicate well with each other and the same goes for Cline, so I don't think communication and leadership will be much of an issue; it usually isn't with Purdue players: they're generally pretty good in this area. However, I think Swanigan is willing to be more demanding on his teammates (and himself) than a lot of other players in the past.
Pretty funny... love that he is wearing McD's All American shirt and acting like he is playing the Little Rock game.

It sure doesn't seem like he has any hard feelings or long term memory about the game last year. Really hoping this is a special year for this team with everyone returning and the additions of Spike and Carsen.
I don't use Instagram, so it's not playing for me.
Vince actually said he doesn't care if people call him Vince or Vincent. It was his mother that was pushing for people to start calling him Vincent.

That last one about Jon McKeeman was a bit harsh, even if there is some truth to it. I'm concerned that these Biggie bios could end up being more hurtful than helpful for team chemistry.

You must lighten up. They're guys, on a team, giving each other crap just for the fun of it. There's plenty of time to be worried, stressed, uptight old guys like us.

Who cares? Malik Williams is going to Louisville. They might as well disband the team.
There, there now. It's OK. Yea, I know it hurt a little bit a couple days ago, but it will go away. The team is doing well and will be pretty good once they return from their trip. By then you will have forgotten all of this upsetting news and exciting anticipation for the season will take over. It's all good. Take a couple aspirin and call me in the morning.
Have you seen the comments on the posts? Players and coaches both commenting about how funny and spot on these are.
