Big Ten tournament Thursday watch thread

Been an ugly BTT for teams in red so far. Minnesota (derivation on red), OSU, Rutgers and now IU are gone. I'll be good with NW eliminating another team in red in the next game.
Does IU really make the tournament? Bardo acted like he thought this game didn't mean much. I would have thought keep it close and there's a chance, but a double digit loss....not so much.

I think they will unless there are a couple of extra bid thieves. The bubble is pretty soft. I'd wager they'll end up in Dayton.

If Xavier beats Marquette, IU is prob out. If Xavier loses. IU will be sweatin it out still. And depends on if any other bubble teams make a run.

Unless there's a bunch of bid-stealers in the conference championships, can't see how Indiana would be left out. Like zz, I could see them in the First Four possibly. Looks like Big Ten is positioned for nine bids, one of which would be the conference tournament champion automatic bid:

Michigan State
Maryland
Michigan
UCLA, Wisconsin, Purdue
Illinois
Oregon
and Indiana...... that makes five.....nine, sir......right......nine!

Xavier is big, and there are others. Colorado St, Boise, North Carolina, Texas, Oklahoma...Ohio State losing clearly helps IU.

Go Ducks! Oregon up 37-29 at the half over IU.

You know, I was thinking as Oregon was going on a run to end the half against IU, the best thing about the schedule is the Hoosiers playing early while we play late so those inbreds aren't there to root harder against us than they root for their own team.
You see the iu player bashing their fans after the game? Painter was right about them. Crappy season followed by buying players who they over hype then start to bash when they dont live up to their unrealistic expectations...then repeat. Its like they would rather win the off season. Alot of talk about nil and players needing thicker skin because they are being paid and the caustic culture of iu fans.

Ha just posted right below. Ridiculous tbh. No one deserves death threats. I know it’s not the whole fan base, but this isn’t a good look either way.

IU fans wonders why they are getting coaches like Crean, Archie, Woodson - who wants to deal with that fan base when you can go elsewhere and be much happier.

If Texas can hold on in this game with aTm, they very well could take IU's spot.
I don't think Indiana's out of it, yet. But it was obviously not a good day for them--especially with UNC and Texas both winning. It looks like First Four or nothing for Indiana at this point. Texas could leapfrog Xavier without necessarily knocking Indiana out.

Keep an eye on the MWC Tournament. Could be trouble if Colorado State (Go Morton!) and Boise State both get to the final.
