A lot of young talent in the league. And transfers are making an impact. Based on incoming and returning talent, early predictions about MSU and IU challenging for the B1G title haven't aged well, but there are still a lot of games to play. People have shifted to thinking Illinois is the only team with the potential to dethrone Purdue. Everyone else is looking for consistency.
