It did seem to me that there were a lot of very good teams in the Big Ten by the end of the year, but it is really hard to tell how the conference is progressing after the non-conference games stop.

Numbers on KenPom prove it. 7 of 8 are top 25 with Oregon pulling up the rear at 28th. OSU, Northwestern, IU and Nebraska top 50. To finish this season tied for 4th was no easy feat. Funny how many coaches lost their jobs because they didn't win vs 12 top 50 teams LOL. I will say this Purdue IMO lost the B1G in the second game when Daniel broke his leg. Yes, we as fans hoped Painter could adjust but, in our hearts, we knew it. A sweet 16 seemed improbable having lost 7 conference games. Purdue is 16th by KenPom a hell of a coaching job that surprised even the most diehard fans.

Nice flex by the b10. Poor acc. Sec has more top end teams but b10 and sec are clearly on top. Not that i agree with what clemson and fsu did but they have a point. Money is a hard obstacle to overcome.

Jacobsen was a big loss. At a minimum he could have helped our defense and probably rebounding numbers. I worried he would get a little wore down by the tourney but he would be a nice piece to have right now. Especially situationaly on the defensive side.

Assuming the seeds hold, Terps will have their hands full handling the Gators. However, they have the size and toughness to do it, although I'm not sure you can trust them in a down-to-the-wire game.

Welp - Wisconsin is the first conference school to go down. BYU tried to give it away, as Wisconsin scored six straight in the last 1 minute+ and had the ball at the end. 91-89 final - EAST Region game. Tonje with 37 but the final miss was a tough one.

Tennessee leads UCLA 32-25 at the half.
