Feels good to have such a relevant game in March again.

Illinois will be tough. They're playing good and they'll be especially hungry for this one. I hope we come out strong after the last two losses. What are your thoughts?

Boiler up.

It's a huge game for both teams. I like Purdue's chances, but it won't be easy. Purdue is going to need to play 40 minutes of solid basketball.

Not to be blunt....but I have no doubts Purdue wins this game and we win it by 8+.

Purdue has not hit on all cylinders besides maybe the IU game at Purdue.

I see the same type of game but Purdue will not let up at all.

I think we see an aggressive Purdue team on both ends of the floor.

We play 40 minutes of defense and in your face and rebound like mad.

On offense we mix in the 3 ball from Edwards, Mathias and Stephens, but the story of the game will be us aggressively driving the ball to the rim.

Yes AJ and Haas will get their touches in the post, but the story will be Octeus, Davis, Stephens and Scott driving the ball to the rim and getting Illinois guards in foul trouble.

Octeus will be aggressive in scoring today and I see Stephens having a big day as well since he is from Illinois and has something to prove.

Hard for Rice or Nunn to hurt us when he is riding the pine most of the game.

If Edwards can negate Hill and we hit our free throws we win this running away.

I think it starts sloppy and is a 4 to 6 point game at the half with Purdue in lead.

Then second half we see Haas and AJ in the game again at same time, we see Edwards dominate a stretch and we see Purdue take the lead to double digits with 2 minutes to go.

Then we trade free throws to close it out and win by 8+.

Boiler Up and sit back and enjoy watching this team and how much they have grown up this year.

We clinch a top 4 finish in Big Ten and secure a 8/9/10 seed in the NCAA tourney when all is said and done.

in the two losses. Unfortunately we folded (and got screwed) in crunch time on both occasions. If Illinois get to the line 25+ times to our less than 15, there should be some refs floating in the Wabash tonight.
