Bays leads exhibition domination (link)

Too many turnovers against a team of this caliber, but they appeared much more in control and fewer of the turnovers were unforced. I liked seeing players "finish" fast breaks with made layups vs. blindly tossing up prayers from the hip we have seen to much of in the past few years.

They destroyed a team they should have destroyed. Had Finley been able to hit the broadside of a barn, this would have been a bit more interesting.

I was very impressed with Andreona Keys. I thought she looked better at the point than Hamby did, when Morrissette was out, I do think that Ashley is going to be a good backup to April, but she scores more when she is at the 2 guard. Ms. Perry was looking pretty good, too, and I thought all the freshmen played hard, especially on defense. Whitney Bays was phenomenal. I know it was not a very exciting game, as Findlay was way overmatched; however, I kind of enjoy not having to chew my nails and stress. :)

I think getting into games situations to get rust out are a plus with some of these pre-games but I wonder if some of these games against extremely weak teams actually benefit us. Our third 5 would have beat this team. It is good to see Miss Bays "I'm on a mission" attitude. It appears she is going to be one of our leaders. I like that.
