I'm a football fan first and foremost. I follow basketball, and have my opinions. However, for the most part they aren't strong or inflexible opinions.
Even I find myself incredibly excited for basketball season. Which has me wondering, what is it going to take to satisfy your preseason expectations? I need one of a conference title or final four. Simply too much on this roster to work with. I also think for the recent recruiting success to continue, Painter needs to show his teams can deliver, or at least produce good draft picks. I suppose a 28+ win season and Ivey as a lottery pick would keep forward momentum even without a conference title or final four.
Im really resisting 'demanding' a national championship, because theres simply too much randomness that goes into that. Unless Purdue wins both conference titles and does well in the tourney, I struggle to imagine KHC is a happy place in April.
