time for the talking heads to admit it. B1G is 2-0 against them. 6 of the 9 ACC teams are out and none have yet advanced to the S16. The B1G will have at least 2 and maybe 4. The ACC is a 2 team league in Duke and UNC. Both great schools, but if the B1G got the same seeding, they would probably have been even better.

ESPN will no longer mention a word about conference records now for this tourney because the B1G has fared better than expected and the ACC has gotten stomped. Not sure they beat another power 5/6 team yet but this crappy league is 5-1 against the power 5/6 and 4-0 against the RPI # 1 & 2 leagues ACC & Big 12.

Duke and UNC will bail them out unfortunately.

Virginia fell apart half way through the year. How they got a five seed I'll never know. Well, actually I do. But before the tournament started, the "experts" were saying they didn't expect Virginia to advance because they didn't think they could score enough. Man were they right. And just as I type this, they are discussing if the ACC is overrated on ESPN!

I thought Northwestern got hosed today or maybe we would already have 3 teams in the sweet 16. Not sure I want to face Michigan State again this year though. Would love for Michigan to beat Louisville though!

Agree but since 2000 we have had something like 7 or 8 runner ups and that comprises 5 or 6 different teams to from the league (not just Duke or Carolina type deal). That does not include a number of final four appearances from multiple B1G teams in the same year. You are correct though in that we have not won that final game!

At this point in time some CBB fans just see it as too long of a run to be a fluke. B1G will hopefully prove them wrong this year

I absolutely cannot stand the media whether it be sports, news, politics or even the weather. The media has an agenda and they promote it. They don't want us to think for ourselves. But then I didn't go to a liberal arts college with a journalism department. I went to a university that put men on the moon.
